Should you be cooling the dishes like pasta in sauce or casserole steak with gravy, I found it holds a substantial amount of liquid. This suits my family as we do not like dry meals.
Again with the dish full of sauce I found the 2 handles made the oven very safe and stable to carry from oven to table.
